Computer servicing began as a hobby for Michael, and much of his knowledge is self-taught. He provided tech support for Dell for over a year before joining the Lucedale Nerds team in May 2012. Michael worked primarily as a Disassembly Technician, making repairs that required laptops to be physically taken apart, for the first year. He was promoted to Workstation Manager in 2013. In June 2014, Michael earned his CompTIA A+ certification.
As the Workstation Manager, Michael not only works in the shop troubleshooting and repairing both laptop and desktop computers, he is also responsible for training and supervising all of our shop technicians. With his extensive knowledge of both software and hardware, he is always there to guide the other technicians when they are stuck on a problem. Michael is also responsible for creating and improving on processes to ensure efficiency in the shop and is cross-trained to provide assistance to our customers remotely at the Help Desk, when needed.
